The government of Kenya, through the Ministry of Agriculture has constructed an aggregation and storage facility for grains and other farm produce at Mundika Stores. Mundika Stores is found in Mundika sublocation,Bukhayo West location,Matayos sub county,Busia County.
This facility is located 1kilometre off Kisumu-Busia highway. It occupies one acre, adjacent to Mundika youth development centre. It comprises of three rooms that act as the administration block, one huge storage space, parking lot constructed to host two average vehicles, a gate, a chain-link fence, a 5000Lt water tank, and an abolution block housing 3 bathrooms and three pit latrines.In addition, the facility comes with a John Deere tractor, a seven ton trailer, and a ten ton Mecmar mobile drier procured from 14 Life Spolka Limited.A weighing machine,and an aflatoxin machine are also available at the facility.
The Ministry of Agriculture handed the facility on 29th November 2024.Installation of cabros and levelizing was done and completed in 2026. After handing over ,the PMC and Baridi Kwa Baridi chose to open up a cooperative society to run the facility. The cooperative was name
Mundika Nafaka Farmers Aggregation and Marketing Cooperative Society Limited. The society is managed by board committee of 9 members with 3 supervisory committee.
Mundika Nafaka Farmers has procured the services of an office assistant who is on site now as secretariat.
The cooperative conducted its first AGM on 13th march 2024.

As Chairman, he provides strategic leadership and governance oversight, guiding the organization in strengthening sustainable farming practices, improving productivity, and supporting farmer empowerment. Mr. Kubebea is committed to advancing agricultural growth, fostering collaboration among farmers, and promoting food security and economic empowerment within farming communities.

The Secretary of Mundika Nafaka Farmers Aggregation and Marketing Cooperative Society Limited is responsible for keeping accurate records, preparing agendas and reports, safeguarding documents, and ensuring clear communication between members, management, and stakeholders. By coordinating member information and supporting the Board’s decisions with professionalism and integrity, the Secretary promotes transparency, accountability, and trust, helping the Cooperative achieve its mission of empowering farmers through aggregation and marketing.
